Set of 5 volumes from The Copp Clarke Literature Series, edited by O.J. Stevenson, M.A., D. Paed., published by the Copp Clarke Company in Toronto. The set includes:

Volume no. 26. Four Poems: The Deserted Village by Goldsmith, Lancelot and Elaine by Tennyson, Ode to Duty by Wordsworth, and The Elegy by Gray. Some separation of spine at title page. There are written ink and pencil annotations throughout the book and back inside cover.

Volume no. 13. Selections from Goldsmith and Longfellow. Volume is inscribed by Karen Dempsey and Caldwater P School on insider front cover. No other writing or markings.

Volume no. 33. Canadian School Shakespeare. The Tempest. The volume is almost as good as new. Signed J. Harod Dempsey on inside front cover.

Volume no. 14. Canadian School Shakespeare. A Midsummer-night's Dream. Some pencil underlining and annotations throughout. Owner inscribed by Zelma Taylor, Bobcaygeon On, on inside front cover.

Volume no. 35. Nine Poems from Goldsmith, Browning, Tennyson, Arnold. The book is heavily annotated throughout, and has minor dog bite markings. Owner inscribed by several people on inside front cover. Separation of spine in the front. The book contains several added sheets of class notes and tests by Harold Dempsey (form V), and Myrtle Olafson from Orillia.
