Mark Twain
Mark Twain, born as Samuel Langhorne Clemens on November 30, 1835, was an American writer, humorist, and lecturer. He is best known for his novels The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and its sequel, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Twain's writing style is characterized by his wit, satire, and social commentary, making him one of the most influential American authors of his time. Twain began his writing career as a journalist and gained popularity with his travelogue, The Innocents Abroad.
