Charles Pratt was an American author and poet born in Arkansas in 1947 and lived in Illinois. He published with first collection of poems, “Day Hunt” in 1971 when, as a young poet, he had already found a firm voice of his own in poetry that moves confidently between the world of romantic love and the day to day world of a North American life perceived in sharp detail.
