All books have some degree of wear consistent with age (fading to pages, wear to cover and spine, staining etc), several contain beautiful ink inscriptions or are signed by owners. The Adventure Boys and the River of Emeralds, by Ames Thompson, illustrated, Cupples & Leon Company, New York, 1927. Inscription erased from inside cover. Considerable wear and staining to cover.
The Golden Canon, G. A. Henty, Hurst & Company, New York. Undated, but believed to date back to early 1900s. Illustrated cover, considerable fading on back. Missing front end paper.
