All books have some degree of wear consistent with age (fading to pages, wear to cover and spine, staining etc), several contain beautiful ink inscriptions or are signed by owners. The Pony Rider Boys In Texas or The Veiled Riddle of the Plains, by Frank Gee Patchin, illustrated, The Saalfield Publishing Company, Ohio. Undated, but ink inscription dates to Xmas 1936. Has some pen scribbles on inside cover.
The Adventure Boys and the River of Emeralds, by Ames Thompson, illustrated, Cupples & Leon Company, New York, 1927. Inscription erased from inside cover. Considerable wear and staining to cover.
The Golden Canon, G. A. Henty, Hurst & Company, New York. Undated, but believed to date back to early 1900s. Illustrated cover, considerable fading on back. Missing front end paper.
